CalTrak has 6 home screen widgets, 3 Control Center controls and 10 Siri shortcuts. You can see your calories left, macros and water without opening the app, and jump straight into logging with one tap.

Most of the time you just want to know how many calories you have left, so I wanted that on the home screen, not three taps away. The widgets show live numbers, follow your app theme and refresh after midnight.

Every button on a widget opens straight into logging. Tap the barcode button and you're scanning.

  Small and medium widgets together.

## What widgets does CalTrak have?

There are six, in three sizes.

| Widget | Size | What it shows |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Budget | Small | A calorie gauge with how many calories you have left |
| Hydration | Small | Your water percentage, a progress bar and ounces so far |
| Budget + Quick Add | Medium | The calorie gauge, eaten and goal, plus Food, Scan and Water buttons |
| Budget + Macros | Medium | The calorie gauge plus carbs, protein and fat bars |
| Hydration + Quick Add | Medium | Ounces so far, a progress bar and a big plus button |
| Daily Dashboard | Large | Calories, macros, hydration and three quick buttons |

## What does the Daily Dashboard look like?

The large widget puts your whole day in one place: calories left, carbs, protein and fat, your water bar, and buttons to log food, scan a barcode or add water.

If you only want one widget, this is the one that shows everything.

## How do I add a CalTrak widget?

1. Touch and hold an empty spot on your home screen until the apps jiggle.
2. Tap Edit, then Add Widget.
3. Search for CalTrak.
4. Swipe to the widget and size you want, then tap Add Widget.

## Can I log food from Control Center?

Yes. CalTrak has three Control Center controls: Scan Barcode, Log Food and Log Hydration.

Log Food opens the Add screen with search, scan, AI and manual entry right there, so you can log something in a couple of seconds from anywhere.

Scan Barcode, Log Food and Log Hydration.

To add them, open Control Center, tap the plus in the corner, choose Add a Control and search for CalTrak.

Log Food opens straight to the Add screen.

## What can I ask Siri?

CalTrak has 10 Siri shortcuts. The best one is "Tell CalTrak what I ate". You can say several foods, a saved meal, water or "the same as yesterday" in one sentence.

| Shortcut | What to say |
| --- | --- |
| Tell CalTrak What You Ate | "Tell CalTrak what I ate" |
| Log a Food | "Log <food> in CalTrak" |
